Been using my Gunfighter Mk.III w/ MCG Ultimate since 2021. Haven't really flown with this stick that much and kept it in the box for a while. I tried using it again yesterday and something weird is happening. So this is what's happened so far.
Connecting the device initially had me full function over the stick. Played DCS World for about an hour and all of a sudden, y-axis started malfunctioning or more like dead(no reaction at all). Checked the response using the configuration tool and it seemed like the axis is totally dead.
Tried disconnecting and reconnecting the board connectors, reassembled the stick but the axis still seemed to be dead.
Then I tried installing different firmwares to see what happens. Surprisingly, trying non-matching firmwares got me full function back temporarily but the y-axis started malfunctioning eventually
Now, installing different firmwares also does not work.
Any other suggestion on this matter?
Would like to check more in detail on the cables and connectors.
Also curious which cable is related to y-axis signal.
All buttons and axes only except for the y-axis are functional ironically
All these problems happened just within the last 2 days after not using it for almost 2 years
