x2 Issues - Received Gunfighter SCG Yesterday

Postby loco2319 » Wed Dec 04, 2024 13:06

Hi Guys,

My Gunfighter MkIV - SCG (Right Hand) arrived yesterday and I'm trying to troubleshoot x2 issues at the moment. Hoping you guys can help out.

ISSUE #1

I've been following the Youtube Guide to flash the device but keep receiving the error

"Device Signature Not Correct - flash fail !!!"

As per the box the product arrived in, it states "GUNFIGHTER MkIV SCG-R" but none of the firmware has MkIV????

ISSUE #2

It seems like whenever I try to rotate the joystick left or right:

- There is no end point (feels like I can just keep going?)

- When I let go of the device, its resting position is a few degrees off from where it should be. Hopefully this video illustrates it better:

You need to seat the grip on the base properly and make sure it's all the way in before tightening the fastener. Here's a guide to show you how to mount the grip.

No need to flash a new device, as it's coming with the latest firmware. After reseating the grip as explained above get VKBDevCfg, select the device at the top, click the Default button under the Tools tab, click Yes to the configure popup, click No to the calibration popup, then calibrate following this guide.

EDIT link fixed

thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I think that guide is for the throttle?

Most likely a mistake, look at this.
There will be no groove for the pin on the SCG, there will be a hole. All grips are fixed to the rod in the same way with two crackers.
