TinyBox/T-Rudders -- Error reading CPUID

Hi,

I'm currently trying to set up older T-Rudders (Mk II) with TinyBox (1.60.6).
Haven't used sims for a couple of years and now I'm getting back into the game
with mostly new gear. Except for the pedals.

The pedals themselves work fine in the Windows joystick tester, so the hardware should be ok.

The problem: VKB Device Config (0.93.01.1) first tells me I need to update
the TinyBoxes firmware:

After clicking ok it fails to read CPUID:

No joy just running Z-Bootloader 2.01 either (nor 1.96 or 1.15)
with _TinyBox_v2_18_9.vkb in the same directory:

Anything else I can try?

Which version of BlackBox does the Gunfighter use - the one with the white or red Sys button?

Yeah, I see. The idea of ​​connecting pedals to BB is out.
If you select Tiny in the configurator and click the Bootloader button in the Tools tab - does it go into firmware mode?
Or does your screenshot suggest double-clicking on the desired device - what's going on?
The Zbootloader.exe flasher file itself should be in the configurator folder.
If nothing helps, then you can put the controller into firmware mode using the Boot pins, first short-circuiting them and only then connecting the USB cable. After that, remove the jumper. And now run only the flasher itself, not the configurator.
Try disconnecting the other devices before flashing.

Bootloader button was grayed out, the error occurred directly when trying to connect to the device.

Shorting the boot jumper as described, then using ZBootloader 2.01 worked. Problem solved.
