Shipping to Turkey?

Postby Xspy70 » Wed Aug 14, 2024 1:45

Greetings.

I'm aware that VKB no longer ships to Turkey due to the ludicrous import tax. Can't blame them, we all despise it.
I saw a topic from 2024 asking how to ship it to Turkey now, and fallout9 said it is possible through AliExpress.
However, when I tried it, it said it does not ship to Turkey (Ankara).
So I'm guessing that method fell through as well?
It's a shame because I've only heard high praises about VKB. If only I was a year earlier to the party so I could purchase it before shipping stopped. All the alternatives are either crap for the price point or overpriced.
May I please get a confirmation that shipping to Turkey is no longer possible via AliExpress, and whether there are alternative ways?
Thank you.

Maybe you have a friend in EU who could repackage and ship to you? Otherwise try sending an email to sales(at)vkb-sim.pro, hopefully they could come up with a solution.

To anyone else searching for an answer to this in the future:

I have contacted VKB Sales and they found out that Turkey changed their policy again this August.
Now instead of the import price limit being $150, it is now a measly $30.
So they confirmed we cannot order to Turkey through AliExpress now nor ship directly due to these policies.
They said the only way would be through a local distribution partner, and asked if I could suggest anyone they could be working with, but I don't really know myself.
If you have any ideas, you could email them.
As for now, we are completely S.O.L. and stuck with crappy and expensive sticks.
Let's hope maybe someday Turkey unscrews itself and VKB could have a reason to try to sell here.

Thank you VKB for shedding light on the issue. I hope a local distributer could be found in the future under better conditions.
