Z-Axis rotation causes disconnection
I'm having issues with both my flightsticks when using Z axis. The red light on the BB starts blinking and other inputs ceased to function. Generally upon returning to a centered position they start working again. I've taken both apart, one has dimpling in the 3 metal contacts, the other does not. The problem doesn't change if I swap my left stick to the right base or vice versa. I'm sure these are out of warranty so really just looking for help identifying the most likely culprit so that I can order a replacement part. Alternatively, if it requires a bit of soldering to repair the culprit, I'm comfortable doing that. I have not yet opened the grip adapter, if there are any videos showing that, I'd welcome a link!

Re: Z-Axis rotation causes disconnection
Well, I've pulled it apart entirely and taken out the connector using instructions provided on the Discord channel. In the case of the left hand one with the Omni, eliminating the Omni from the mix fixed the problem, ironic, because that omni 3 pad connection looks virtually brand new whereas the base has fairly significant dimpling. I can't find any broken joints but obviously something is wrong. The right side one is same situation but the dimpling is quite severe so that may well be the issue there. At this point I would be inclined to order the upgrade kits for Rev C connections if I could also order conversion kits for the bases, but that doesn't yet seem to be an option. Any advice on the best approach...aside from just buying a pair of new sticks!

Try to press harder on the one without dimples while tightening the fastener, for better contact.
