how often calibrate the device

Postby simmeone » Mon May 20, 2024 11:00

Hi,

I have often the issue, that the X, Y and Z axis of my gunfighter turns crazy. It helps to press the stick of X and Y axis to the maximum amount. When the Z axis is crazy, only a complete unplugging the USB cable will help. My gunfighter is calibrated, the last time, as I updated the firmware. So my question is, how often I have to calibrate my device or is my orange black box defect?

Regards

PS: here screenshot, after calibrate the gunfigther, something went wrong. I pressed the stick on X axis to the max amount.

There's a monitor for grip to base connection on the Test/External Devices panel of VKBDevCfg. Click the grip icon and let the window running. If you see large red blocks when you move the grip around there's something wrong with the way the grip is mounted - either not seating properly on the base (release the fastener, press down the grip a bit, tighten the fastener) or the contacts are damaged and in this case you should contact support in order to get replacements.
