I got my STECS standard today. along with a right handed Gun fighter.
On the STECS the left thumb analog stick cap was not installed. It was loose in the box. I tried to put it on, but it seems to be too small. Can I get some sort of replacement that will fit and work?
Also one of the dents doesnt want to screw down, and stay where I put it. One of them is fine. Is there some trick to make the dents stay put? I cant tighten it any more and I used the same pressure on the one that is working fine.
TIA
Michael

The China hat cap's post has a rectangular shape - make sure you fit it properly.
Check the correct way to install the detents on the frame.

Re: STECS thumb hat
I noticed the cap shape. It is not going on at all.
The problem with the dents is that the screws are glued to the dents, and thus they dont tighten properly. I suspect this innovation was done to make the dents look pretty in the box, but it totally screws them up

Can you post some pics with the cap beside the analog ministick? Also, with the detent you're having issues with?

It is "detents", and I have noticed a few screws stuck to their blocks as well. Most were loose though, I suspect the ones that are stuck are more of an accident. They should break loose if (after removing the nut) you hold the detent with pliers or a vise and try to turn the screw a little.
As for the thumb hat, you are talking about this stem and cap, right?

Re detents, I am a senior living in a home. I dont have access to tools
That looks like the right stick. I would prefer that it not come off at all.
