excuse the repost but maybe I should have put it and this will get attention here:
hello,
I have some questions about the controls:
Trigger: My trigger doesn't want to work in combat as I am flying hard, noticeable in banking and diving. I get on a target and just when I need it...I squeeze the trigger, either first or second click makes no difference, And I get 1 to 3 shots instead of a burst and repeated pulling of trigger fires 1 shot at a time and of course I lose the target. I have ammo and the guns are not jammed. Now, when I test flight or game flight on a level flight it will shoot as long as I hold the trigger until the guns jam (about 300 rounds in this particular case).
I have tried clearing the trigger buttons in the game and reassigning them but it still does the same thing.
Less of a problem but still questionable is the thumb button I set (gray and halfway up the stick). It works but in a plane with 4 bombs it takes a deliberate push and slight pause to release each bomb. My old stick would release each bomb as fast as I could push the button.
Can't really fly combat without the guns being dependable.

So is that an EVO with SCG grip? Please run VKBDevCfg and post 2 screenshots: one showing the Profile/Axes/Logical and Physical Axes chart and the second showing the Global/External panel.

Now click the Profile tab, then on the Axes tab. Make sure the Physical Axes and Logical Axes panels are showing, then take a screenshot with that too.

Your joystick looks properly set up and calibrated. To find out if the issues you've described are joystick or game related run VKBDevCfg again, click on the Test tab; check all your axes on the Axes tab, then all the buttons on the Buttons tab. If they all respond properly to your input, then you should adjust your settings in game, as your joystick is just fine.
Re: trigger problem new nxt evo
ran devfig, what does the flashing blue light between f1 and f3 mean?
Re: trigger problem new nxt evo
all I can do in the game is clear the button assignment and reinstall it. I did that and it is still doing it.
Sounds crazy but only does it when I am close to an enemy plane.
Any ideas?

Re: trigger problem new nxt evo
Please check again what I suggested above and run those tests before trying in game.
The blue light flashing means the joystick is not calibrated. Your latest screenshot shows a properly calibrated device, but maybe since then you've pressed again the Default button? If you press the default button you'll have to click the Find&AutoConfig button on the Global/Profile tab and recalibrate. Afterwards you could run the tests I've recommended.

Re: trigger problem new nxt evo
how do you check *ALL* the buttons. I checked each button on the stick and it lit up but there are more so....multiple keys to check the rest??
Re: trigger problem new nxt evo
Default....external....does not give me a Find and Autoconfig button on screen.
