T-Rudder questions

Hi,

Just recieved my new T-Rudder MK.IV rudder pedals, and immediately decided to change the cam to the smooth centering and spring tension to high before plugging it on. However upon disassembling the unit, I found I just couldn't remove the cam from the spinning axle, nomatter how hard I pulled, it's just jammed in there stuck. Now I didn't want to attempt to knock it loose with a hammer in fear of damaging the bearing & sensors, so decided to instead remove the spring tensioner which allowed me to simply spin the cam 180 deg to the smooth side.

However having now reassembled the piece and plugged it into the PC for the first time, I noticed in the windows calibration menu that the rudders are centeret at 25% input, with full left rudder giving 0% and full right rudder resulting in 50%, as such:

Is this correct behavior?

PS: Noticed that I have exactly 1024 coordinate input points available, is that correct?

To swap the cam you could use this video as a guide. If everything is right, then you definitely wouldn't need a hammer to take it apart.
You shouldn't use Windows' calibration tools at all, they're ancient and neglected and they will only mess up the device. Run VKBDevCfg in Admin mode, press the Make Reg File button, run the reg file created, which would delete all Windows' calibration and settings related to the rudders (it's in the same folder as VKBDevCfg), then press Default button (under Tools tab), followed by Start Calibration, move the rudders a few times through their whole range and press End Calibr. You could check them in native software tester (Test tab).

Yeah I followed that video step by step, but I quite simply couldn't get the cam off the axle, it's litterally stuck there. Hence why I elected to simply removing the tensioner bolt (as it blocks the cam from being spun around) and then spin the cam 180 deg. Question is, will that screw anything up?

Ok, that's good. I followed the instructions in the video carefully, except for when it came to removing the cam, as I simply couldn't do that. Hence was just wondering wether the sensor was set up in a way where spinning it 180 deg would misalign something, as it was quite simply my only choice when the cam wouldn't come off.

I wonder why the cam is stuck on the axle though, as in the video it comes off easily after removing the nut fastening it. On mine is like its welded in there lol.
