GNX 2xTHQ+SEM+FSM-GA gone after firmware update

Hello,

I own a GNX 2THQ+SEM+FSM.GA combo.
It has worked flawlessly out of the box until i updated the firmware today.
I went through the procedure explained in the tutorial, namely:

1) downloaded firwmare from VKB (version 2_09_0-XT)
2) Flashed with DevConfig v0.92.17
3) Used _GNX_USB_Controller_v2.09.0.vkb to flash

After the procedure, the device is no longer recognized as the GNX Combo as detailed above, but as "VKBSim NXT XT v2.088" and it is not recognized when tested, aka no buttons or axes are showing movements when pressed/moved.

I am at a loss at this point, i would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Press the Default button under Tools tab, then the Find&AutoConfig button on the Global/External/ExternalDevices panel. Calibrate afterwards.
