VKB NXT EVO Squeaky Trigger

Postby Fishie » Thu Apr 21, 2022 22:34

I got two sticks, one is the omni evo which is great no issues, but the regular right stick evo nxt has a squeaky trigger and its infuriatingly loud, is there a fix for this issue?

Just a little bit, a drop of lubricant on each side of the trigger. If still there afterwards try opening it and lubricate it on the insides too.

Thank you! Do you have any recommendations on a lubricant I could use?

Anything plastic friendly would suffice.

Did you fix this? I've noticed on mine its very noisy. If I pull it slightly to the right as I squeeze its fine and all I hear is the clicks. In its more central position if I just pull its super squeaky.

EVO is brilliant though from what I've played with it so far since arriving today.

Open up and see if the springs under the trigger are in right position. If they are, then a bit of grease on both sides of the trigger might help.

Fixed it thanks. The top coil/spring of the main red trigger was just a bit too snug up against it. I pulled it a couple of mm away and there is no noise now.
