Hi,
I've been away from simming for a couple of years and starting to get back into it. So I pulled out the Gunfighter Mk.III ‘Space Combat Edition’ Gunfighter Model: Gunfighter Pro-S Grip: SCG Premium-R(ight) that I purchased back in 2020 and tried updating the firmware. All seemed to go fine until after firmware was updated. Now Win 10 does not recognize the device and it does not show up in the VKB defice cfg software.
Am thinking I may have selected the wrong firmware version. I believe I selected "_BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_PRO_v2_09_0". Is that the correct one?
I have the black 'black box' not the orange one. I tried holding the reset button while plugging in the usb cable but that did not help. I know that in the orange 'black box' one had to short the boot pins. Is that still the case for the black 'black box'? I opened the box but couldn't tell which pins would need to be shorted.
Thanks much for any help you can provide.

Disconnect from USB, press and hold the white button on the Black Box, plug to USB (back of the computer preferably), release the button after a few seconds. Run zBootloader, is the boot device listed? If it is, just select it, then click the ... button and navigate to the _BlackBox_MK2_GF_SCG_v2_09_0.vkb file and flash it. Press the Default button after that and calibrate.

Thanks for the quick response.
Followed your instructions. Plugged USB into back of computer.
z-bootloader says Device not ready.
Found Boot Device:
Error read data: 0

Re: Updated firmware and now Gunfighter stick not recognized
Think I've got it working. Tried again but opened VKB Device Config. That recognized the device and was able to download firmware but when I went back into VKB Device Config an error message popped up saying "CPUID error".
So I deleted the CPUID CPU Z program, restarted VKB Device and can now start to calibrate.
Also, the device is listed as "VKBsim Space Gunfighter XT v2.090."
Maybe I'm getting too old for this. Pretty stupid of me to select MCG instead of SCG.
