Gladiator NXT premium issues in just 10 days of owning(solved)

Postby Madkiwi » Tue Apr 05, 2022 10:11

I've been asked to lodge support ticket in regards to my 10 day old NXT gladiator premium (R) rot axis working in one direction only, I have Tried all things I have come across here on this forum to solve this issue with no change. running the latest firmware Gladiator_NXT_v2.090 now. Came with v2.059 I think it was and have tried deleting all VKB files from PC And Windows calibration. Navigated to global/devices/external devices then find and auto config button then then recalibrated from there still no change.

cheers

Upon further digging around here in the forum I came across a post about someone with jittery Rot Z axis so I pulled apart the stick to check on the magnet as did the other threads OP.

I reseated the magnet and it now has come to life and now I am getting a left twist input on the stick now reads "56494" and a right input reads "2784". I did do the default button and recalibrated follow steps in that thread with no change in numbers

Did you calibrated with Windows' tools or using the native software?

I used the VKB software to calibrate.

Hope this is something you master minds can help me with. Hopefully its just a numbers game in the software to fix this problem, It's like it has new endpoints that it is reading from. Sorry for the late response I'm very time poor most weeks

Try changing MPL=9 to 10, press Set and calibrate again. Attach a screenshot after this Profile-Axes tab.
