New Gladiator NXT's - many buttons not working

Postby Toast_Recon » Sun Feb 13, 2022 0:29

Hi there,

Just unboxed left and right Gladiator NXT's and am trying to assign buttons in Star Citizen HOTAS settings.

Most of the buttons on my left stick are not getting picked up by Star Citizen or by the VKB software for the sticks.

I've calibrated both sticks using the VKB software, but when I go to the Test tab in the software and press buttons with either stick selected, the only buttons that cause lights to go on in the test table are the F1, F2, and F3 buttons on the left stick. None of the other buttons from either stick cause lights to go on in the test table for all the buttons.

Something weird is going on here, both between the sticks and Star Citizen, and between the sticks and the VKB software.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to solve this issue?

I read through the whole user manual but didn't find any help in there.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Excited to try the sticks out once the buttons are working :)

Open up the left stick and check the wires in there; hopefully they haven't got severed during installation. If the wires and cables are alright disconnect the grip cable from the motherboard and plug it back firmly.

Thank you, Fallout9.

I found another thread where you helped someone with this same issue and went through the steps in that thread. I'm all set for now.

It was the process of hitting the Default button for both sticks and re-calibrating that fixed it.

Thanks!
