Configuration and recocnition of GNX-THQ mounted on the left side of NXT

I can complete through step 7.

At step 8, when I click on Tools tab, I only have 3 options.

One is an icon of tools. Clicking on this does nothing.
Second is the boot loader icon. I have already used it to flash.
Third is on the far right, and it says "Make Reg File.

I do not have a "default" option under the Tools tab to take me to where I can calibrate my stick.

Any ideas? Seems weird that a stick with the reputation of being so good, is awful difficult to set up. I am obviously missing something. No software available to help me calibrate, and Windows Game Controller does nothing.

Select your device in the blue device list at the top and the rest of the buttons will show up.
