Hello,
I just got my SEM (desktop) module with HID and I have a few questions about LEDs.
1.
I have noticed that Landing Gear lights work even if you disable LEDs with jumper. Is there a way to turn them off with software? By default they are green with button 22 press and red with button 24 press.
2.
Is it possible to have them do what they do now but for buttons 18 and 21 ("Flaps" lever)? I was thinking about using that one for gear and the "Landing Gear" one for flaps. Actually I managed to do that through software but buttons 22 and 24 still take priority.
3.
Is there any documentation about programing LEDs on this device? I managed to find out how to make which LED to light up after a button press, but it was all trial and error.
Extra question:
There was a 3 position detent mounted on the "Landing Gear" lever and I got another same one in the bag. I guess one of them should be different, right?
Thanks,
Jan

Re: SEM Landing Gear lights
First check this post about LEDs.
Depending on your setup, the buttons number may vary, but if you want to find out the LED number for a specific button first see the number of that button in tester, then see what LED number that button affects in Global/External/LEDs. You could assign any LED to any other button on your device from there.
In case something gets wrong or getting lost in programming, just press the Default button, then Find&Autoconfig (and calibrate if you're using any analog axes) and start all over. When you reach a point where you're pleased with your programming it is wise to save that profile so you could use that as a save point to return to.

Re: SEM Landing Gear lights
I saw that post, but I somehow I don't understand how am I supposed to know number of any led from button tester? It shows me what button I pressed, but I can't identify LEDs.
In global I see only these 3 things, all of them are LED 0, which I believe is the one the HID controller?.
I managed to make one of 3 Landing Gear LEDs red when pressing a button by adding this line, but how am I supposed to know LED 15 is what I am looking for?
Thanks,
Jan

Re: SEM Landing Gear lights
1. Click the button you want to change the LED on in tester: photo 1.
2. Scroll down the lines in LEDs section until you find the button number; next to it is LED number: photo 2.
You could combine this with the LEDs tutorial so you could program the LEDs on your devices.

Re: SEM Landing Gear lights
As you can see in screenshots i attached before, my list is full of buttons 0 with led 0. I don't see anything like your list. I can manually input button number and led number, but that's it.

Your device is not properly configured. Please press the Default button, then the Find&Autoconfig button. You should also check if your Landing Gear and Flaps axes are properly set according to installed detents blocks. See the guide.

Find and show button shown there. You have to press the default button before it will show

Re: SEM Landing Gear lights
I was able to do this myself by changing the buttons listed as 24 to 21 (highlighted in pink) and 22 to 18 (highlighted in yellow). I am mad but happy I have to change my detents back lololol,
