Re: Phantom inputs
Make a new video activating both X and Y axes so we could see the difference. Try to hold the grip at the middle between center and full deflection for a few seconds.
Re: Phantom inputs
Actually I tried something before I read your last post, which was to take the stick apart. I found that the nut holding the roller to the cam was coming loose again, and the roller was running on the rim of the cam. This is an issue that I had before with this stick. Going to have to get some locktite to fix this issue. I have tightened the nuts, and retested and the axis is smooth again.
Thank you for your help with my other issues. The last BIOS you linked to me seems to have fixed the other issues.

Re: Phantom inputs
Nice! I would advise, before Loctite, to make sure there's a spring washer on that bolt and if it is, try to find and use a nylon nut.
Re: Phantom inputs
Hi, this is happening again. Only on the brake lever this time. It twitches on the axis even when I am not touching the stick at all. I have recalibrated, but was unable to calibrate that axis... Is there anymore firmware that I am unaware of? The version of firmware I have is a higher revision than is available on support site. I have GF MCG PRo V1 BTW.

Helloh!
You may also take a Look into this Thread: https://forum.il2sturmovik.ru/topic/970 ... b/page/83/
...and according to Dr. Anthony, the Firmware Version Number 2.02.5, 2.04.5, 2.04.9 and 2.05.3 cause some Jittering Issues. Especially on the X-Axis.
In Version 2.05.5 it seems to be solved. Also the Version 2.02.0 and 2.04.0. You may try out one of these 3 and don't forget to re-calibrate.
Sorry for bad English!

Hi again, I did recalibrate as recommended, however the jitter effected the calibration

Thanks for you response, how do I find 2.05.5? I only find 2.02.05 which I have tried before and does not help. I current have 2.03.1

Re: Phantom inputs
Please ignore the 2.05.5 comments; the issues that user is reporting on Russian forums are Gladiator NXT related.
Open up the base, unplug all the white connectors, plug them back firmly and try again. If the issue is still there please post video as requested a while ago.

Re: Phantom inputs
That Jittering also happens on Gladiator MK. II and on Gunfighter MK. III.
That "Bug" came after Version 2.0.1.1 and on 2.0.4 it is fixed.

Re: Phantom inputs
Please don't spread misinformation. This joystick flashed with 2.025 has no jitter, for example.
If it was like you said there would had been more reports.

Re: Phantom inputs
I made that Experience and you say it is Missinformation?
I noticed that Issue after Firmware 2.0.1.1. In some Versions it is still present and in some it is fixed. Like on 2.0.4, for Example, it does not happen.
Do I really have to make a Video out of this?
I did not test every single Firmware yet. So, that's why I also quoted that Person from the Forum. The Issue is about X-Axis Jittering. So, I don't understand, why
you say this presumption is completly wrong? The Version Numbers with this Problem may be wrong. Example: He said No Jittering on 2.02, but it was. Also said
2.02.5 has this Issue, but as your Video proves that is also wrong.
But as it seems, replugging the Cables did solve the Problem. If it occurs again, maybe that is the "Trick"? Trying different Firmware shouldn't hurt much. But
you let it sound like I give the Advice to put a Fork into a live Toaster...
Also what is bad about the Thread? Alex Oz is posting all the Changes there and helping People with Issues / Questions alot.
Also this wasn't meant as Insult or negative Critic in any way. Coding is not easy. Alex does an excellent Job on this Software and Firmware!
