Hello there,
i have the problem that my Gunfighter MKIII MCGU is not perfectly centered, i already changed the default spings (#20 i think) to the #30 ones, it got better but not perfect.
I am using the default cams and a default deadzone of 0,5. As seen in the screenshot, there is always a little offset.
Is this normal behaviour or something broken here ?
Thank you very much!

Yes, it is normal. The #20 and #30 springs are too soft for a metal grip to pull it back to center. You could either add springs, install the hard cams or increase the deadzone if you want a perfect return to center.

Hello fallout9,
thank you for your answer, that does make sense. However the base is also not centering when no grip is attached.
It is like it's forced/held more in one direction (per axis) than in the other. Any Ideas ?

Re: Gunfighter MKIII MCGU not centering
Check your base - release the dry clutches completely. Check the cams - maybe the bolts securing them are too tight. See this video for details.

Re: Gunfighter MKIII MCGU not centering
So, i tried to looesn the bolts securing the cams and while the x-Axis is now perfectly returning to center, the y-Axis is still a litte bit off.
I think i will open a support ticket and get his checked fixed, thank you.
One other question: Is the second trigger detent on the MCGU meant to be this hard/stiff? it really needs some force to get pressed.
Thank you very much!

Re: Gunfighter MKIII MCGU not centering
Please check the video I've posted just to clarify how tight those cams' bolts have to be: not too loose and not too tight, but just as tight as the bolt, cam, washer(s), ball bearing and nut are moving all together; if you loosen them up and they move independently (like the cam rotating around the bolt instead of rotating together with the ball bearing) then this would not work as intended and might create issues in the long run. Also, the default springs are NOT a guarantee of a perfect centering; you'll have to add up springs and/or get on hard detent cams if you like soft springs.
The second trigger detent being harder to press than the first one is intended feature; if it would be lighter the user could get through both detents when pressing only the first.
