Hey,
since 5 weeks I have the MCG Ultimate with stick extrension. Two days ago I noticed, that sometimes button inputs are not registered at a random pattern. The axis seem not to be affected.
I noticed in the VKB Device Config Programm in External Devices that I have partly high communication error levels when I move the stick. This seems unsettling.
When I restart the device via pulling the usb cable it then works again.
Do you have any clue what could be the problem?
Regards
Hajime

Re: Buttons input somtimes not registered
Hi Hajime. This sounds like a connection issue. Please take off both the extension and grip, clean up the 3 contact pads on both the extension and the stem of the base with just a bit of alcohol and a qtip, then put them back. While tightening the fastener on both the extension and the grip please press gently on them, so they could make good contact. Just a gently press, don't use force pressing on them.

Thank you for your replay.
I cleaned the pads (a can't see any soiling at all). The pad of the base seems a bit worn after only 2 assemblys? Would it be theoretically possible to replace the contact pads if
there is a problem?
I checked the External Devices and now I got almost no communication errors. I got one peak at 7%.
I wonder how there can be errors at all. The contacts don't move relative to each other.
I will report the further development.
Thank you

Dents into the contact pads are fine; scratches are not - that means the grip/extension have not been properly secured by the fastener and moved during use.
