My F-14 stick's DLC thumbwheel does not return easily from its rear position (return from front position is much faster/more easily). Feels like it's "tighter", "bound" or something...
Is it possible to "release"/"untighten" the spring mechanism (or grease/lubricate something in there), so the wheel returns from its rear as easy/fast as from its front position?
Thanks for your assistance.

Open it up and see what's holding it back. You could use this video as guidance, but you'll have to dig a bit deeper to reach the wheel. Just say if you need further assistance.

Thanks, fallout9 - I'll open it and have a look... From the video (yep, I sure know that one) you suggest that I open up the two halves, instead of having a peek under the "door" held by the 4 philips screws (right under the DLC-wheel), correct?
Thanks a lot, mate!
