Gladiator NXT Standard POV (A1) HAT not working

Hello,
I have a Gladiator NXT Standard and up, down, left, and right on the POV Hat (A1) are not working. The center push is working. In device config I hit default and nothing changed. I reflashed the device with no change. I attached the results when I open VKB button tester. Pressing up, down, left, or right, do not register in button tester. Interestingly, when I go to VKB device config>profile>buttons>physical layer the POV buttons in the Reg#3 row light up when I press them.

How many NXTs you have? Only the L or you have a R too?

On the Standard version there's no ministick, so no POV hat programmed by default. You should see buttons on the tester lighting up when the A1 HAT switch buttons are pressed.

Okay. Then I am not getting a response when pressing up, down, left, or right on the A1 HAT switch. I do get a response when I press it in.
