I need a How to for T Rudder calibration/updates

So, I've had the SCG Kosmosima Pro since September 2020 but I've just bought new VKB T-rudder Pedals to go with it and I need to know how to start it up/calibrate it, (everything's plugged in to the original Kosmosima black box, not the new BB that came with the rudder). Do I need to re-download a new boot loader and/or update my VKBdevCfg as I haven't updated anything since I initially installed these programs. I want to update date my VKBdevCfg to the "2021" version as well, but am afraid to lose my button/stick profile saved under the VKBdevCfg "2020" version from last September. Do I just follow the same process I used for the controller and the vkb programs will recognize the T-rudder that way?

1. save your profile (check this guide about profiles);
2. reflash the kosmosima to the latest firmware (check this flashing guide);
3. after resetting to default plug in the rudders in the same Black Box;
4. load your old profile;
5. calibrate, including all the axes connected to the Black Box: pitch and roll, twist, ministick, rudders;
6. ?
7. profit!
