New owner , issues out of box? gladiator nxt L pro

Postby patton610 » Wed Jan 06, 2021 2:05

I have assumed the stick to the point that calibration can begin. However I noticed two issues during assembly that have me scratching my head . Near the bottom of the grip on the rear there appears to be a screw hole. The instructions do not mention this and there does not seem to be a screw provided with the 7 others that are utilized in the assembly video.
The second issue is that one of the three screws that hold the grip to the base does not seem bottom out in any meaningful way. I can tell that it is in the screw threads but it jest keeps turning. Never meets any resistance. I've stripped threads before and I know what that feels like, here though it feels like it just never gets tighter. The other two worked fine. Wondering if a washer or nut went missing at some point.

The hole on the bottom of the grip is for locking up the grip twist, in case you have pedals. You should have a M3 hex silver bolt in one of the bags that would fit in there.
If any of the 3 screws securing the grip to the base are not catching you could take all 3 of them out and press a bit harder on the grip to force it into position (please use common sense in this procedure, do not apply unnecessary force). Put back the screw after this. Please be extremely careful with the 3 wires coming out of the grip so they won't get caught between moving parts. Check the video guide before making any other adjustments.

Think that did it. Guess it wasn't seated all the way. Thank you for the help
