Gladiator-K clicking when rotating left on z-axis

I have had the Gladiator-K for a few weeks, in that time i have put about 40 hours of active flying on it. Thus far I have had no issues whatsoever, however today it started making a noticeable clizking noise when rotating z-axis left. It is just one single high ish pitched click and it always happens at about half rotation or just a little past. I removed the stick from the base and rotated the stick itself by holding the bottom of stick (again fully detached from base) and was able to reproduce the noise every time so the "problem" is in the joystick its self. The noise is distracting and odd. Is there anything I can do? I do feel comfortable taking it apart a bit if need be and I also do have nyogel 676a on hand if need be.

Sounds like the spring is catching up on something. Open it up, see what’s happening.

Thank you so much for the incredibly fast response! I opened it up, inspected the spring and tested it... and suddenly the noise is gone. mush have been an issue with housing or something? Either way I appreciate the help!
