Hello,
I have a Gladiator-K that works perfect with the SCG premium right hand grip and _Gladiator_SCG_V1_99_6.vkb firmware.
However, I have tried installing my KG12 grip and can not determine which firmware to use. I have tried _Gladiator_V1_99_6.vkb and _Gladiator_Pro_V1_99_6.vkb and both give me the constant flashing red light indicative of incorrect firmware being installed. I see a gladiator firmware for every other grip VKB sells so I must be missing something for the firmware for the KG12 grip. Especially since the gladiators original came with this style grip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Firmware for Gladiator-K with KG12 WWII Combat Stick
Gladiator base and KG12 grip should work with the Gladiator firmware (obviously there will be no twist). Press the Default after flashing and calibrate it. If the light's still flashing check Global/External/External devices panel: try setting up the Device (roll down menu) as Gladiator Stick, KG12 or Generic device - see which one will work.
Re: Firmware for Gladiator-K with KG12 WWII Combat Stick
Thanks for the fast response Fallout!
So I did the following and the stick is now working 90%.
1. Flashed firmware with _Gladiator_v1_99_6.vkb
2. Physically installed KG12 stick
3. Reset to default in VKBDecCfg-C
4. Performed device calibration on all axis (VKB T-rudder connected directly to gladiator base so axis for pedals was calibrated as well)
5. Navigated to Global -> External and for external device #1 set Device as KG12 stick
6. Under Action tab clicked ‘set’
Once this was done the red LED went solid. However, under Buttons/ POVs in the test tab every button is registering a click except for the lower pinky button on the KG12 stick. All other stick buttons register in the test including the 8 way hat switch. I experienced the exact same results when setting the Device listed in step 5 to ‘Generic device’. In order to confirm this was not a faulty stick I got another known functioning KG12 stick from my gunfighter Mk3 and installed with the same results.
Any more tips would be awesome!

Now check that Poll box on the right side and press on the pinkie. That blue sS7 button will show a red light. Means the pinkie is configured as a silent subShift button. Now go to the tester, press the grip buttons and remember their numbers; now hold the pinkie pressed and press again the other grip buttons - other numbers will show. Same with the Mode button on the base.
If you want the pinkie to be a regular button just click on the blue box and in the new window set it up as Button instead of subShift; then close that window and press Set in the menu to save the changes.
100% now, yes?
