VKB GF Mk3 w/Kosmosima ministick not functioning as 8-way POV hat

Hi,

Just bought 2 matching Kosmosima's. Flashed em both to the latest firmware, and the left stick is working perfectly.
Right stick is also working 99% but the ministick will not do cardinal directions when set as a 8-way POV hat. To clarify, it is only reading the four corners of its range, ie. up+left, up+right, down+left, down+right
It will do UDLR if set as a 4 way hat, and it is calibrated and reading its full range when set as a joystick, but I dont know how to get it to read all 8 directions as an 8 way hat. I have heard of flashing to a different firmware, but I could not find a repository of older firmwares and these are my first VKB joysticks so would appreciate a link to that location as well if it is publicly available.
