I received my new PCB for the Base A1 center console button,
I replaced but I get no red or green Mode function light, I used the wizzo to reset default and I also flashed to the newest firmware and still no Mode green or red light function please help.
The Mode function does work just no lights.
North American VKB advised me to ask here.
P.S.
Plus I had to replace the Center A1 button console PCB, I can not use the Mode switch button, there is no green or red lights, for mode switching, I'm up to date on the firmware and the wizzo program.
MKI VKB Gladiator Pro v1.81.7
Wizzo v0.88
stick is working all buttons working but no mode switch lights. Shift state working also

Re: Received new PCB for A1 controls
Let's begin with creating a new directory. Say, VKB Utilities. Or, use the one you have already.
Download the configurator http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/VKBDevCfg-C_0_78_9_9.zip; unpack it into this folder.
Start the utility in Expert mode http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2647
Exit the configurator utility
A file named zconfig.ini will appear in your folder
Open it with Notepad
Find [User] section
Enter a new line User=Developer after the last line in this section
Restart the utility
Make a screenshot like the one attached to this post
Global-External-LEDs
Also take a Global-Common screenshot
Also take a Profile-Buttons screenshot
Upload all screenshots (which is THREE) here into this thread. Do not use archives, or links to whatever file depots. Upload images as they are.
We will chew over them and get back to you. Hope it won't take long!

Re: Received new PCB for A1 controls
It is worth checking the physical operation of the mode buttons. To do this, activate the Poll check-box in the physical layer tab (the last screenshot) and press all buttons to receive a response in the form of a red square.

Please check the selected two top pins. They are responsible for the LEDs in question.
Check also the connector head that is plugged in there.
Your settings appear OK, and the only reason as we see it could be the loose contact there.
So please disconnect the plug, make sure both wires are not broken, then reconnect and double check the accuracy of connection.
Tell me whether it worked. Hope it would.

Re: Received new PCB for A1 controls
The button works, I just don’t have green or red lights. Original pcb the lights work. Just the last 2 pcb sent to me the lights don’t work. What are the odds I get 2 pcb in a row that are bad?
I checked the 2 PCB sent to me, and both have bad solder rings near the led pcb points. It looks as though they changed their machine soldering to something else because the solderings look like they make contacts I'll send a pic.
the original is clean and still works, just the button is bad.
the bottom PCB is the original, lights work button doesn't.
the top is the 2nd of the 2 replacement PCB sent to me both are the same soldering tooling that is bad.
Looks to me that quality control is just that. none.

Re: Received new PCB for A1 controls
Hi I’m back, still waiting on a replacement pcb board, The North America representative has no replacement pcb A1 boards. I would like a full working base before I receive my MCG grip.
The pcb button is now broken, as well as the grey push button.
