Re: MCG Compatibility - Special Grip, or Grip Adapter?

My number one preference would be to be able to buy some kind of 3pin upgrade kit for the controller in the base. Ideally I'd like to convert my Gladiator Pro to 3pin without the extra height. For desktop users, an extra 20mm is just too much to use comfortably, so that'd restrict the option to peop...

Re: Who wants an MCG for their Mamba or Gladiator Pro Mk.I?

I've replied to your email Rrhode. How will this affect the upcoming twist adaptor? Please tell me I don't have to buy a whole new base to add twist to my Glad Pro MK1!

Re: MCG vs. MCG Pro

There looks to have been some last second model changes ahead of the production this month based on feedback from Russian simmers. From what I can decipher, the thumb button may be changed to a hat, and the index finger two-way toggle on the side may be changed to a 4-way hat. The other major change...

Re: Gunfighter vs Gladiator Pro

Both have the same springs to my knowledge, it's just that the gunfighter has an additional adjustable friction mechanism as well as the spring to calibrate a level of drag on top of whichever spring tension you choose to use. It would be similar to the difference between pushing a stick through wat...

Re: Have there been any previews of the Sim Modern Jet Grip?

Thanks rrhode. Excited to see what they've done with the new grip. The previous mockup looked very promising. I'm hoping they kept the thumb button, was definitely my favourite feature of the Logi 3D Pro and Combatstick.

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

Yeah, how would a slider be any different to a single axis throttle?

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

I know I already said it, but the more I think about it, the more I really agree that nice feeling linear slider like would be an awesome throttle analogue, as well as being, like you said, useful for other functions.

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

A linear slider would definitely be an awesome addition for those who dual stick.

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

I also have no overwhelming need for both sticks to be a mirrored layout. Glad Pro in right and T16k in left feels perfectly natural, and they are very different feeling sticks. However, if the space stick is more ergonomic than the modern grip (so it's more like a Logitech 3D pro than a F16/SU styl...

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots

I'm really glad that VKB are extending the consultation to space-sim western players as well as the Russian sim guys. I'm always dismayed whenever twist is brought up, it's instantly poopooed by the hardcore mil-sim crowd (Russian and western alike) which are generally who the stick manufacturers pa...
