The warthog hats are actually buttons not a digital axis. Whereas the two MCG hats are full range analogue axises like a slew control or a much more accurate version of the stick on the CH Pro throttle.

Something that wasn't mentioned in the previous comment is that all the hats on the WH grip are digital buttons whereas on the MCG they're analog or digital buttons. I use an Orbweaver in my left hand, so a table mount is out of the question.
