Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Victorus, when I went into USBDeview, I could only see one instance of 231d, coloured green meaning it was actively connected. I selected it, and uninstalled the device. I waited for it to refresh to make sure it was gone. Once confirmed, I unplugged the USB, and plugged back in again. Windows came ...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Sorry Victorus, same results on 0.77.66. VKB Config3SetHIDKeyboard3.png Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding, I followed the following procedure after running 0.77.66: Went to Global, and set Keyboard to Classic Set on joystick to write to joystick memory Go to Profile, Physical, Button 47...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Ok, I tried setting the buttons to 128, but this didn't help at all. I also tried doing the configuration on a MacBook Pro computer and got the exact same results as my desktop PC. It's worth noting that both PCs are running Windows 10. Desktop PC is running the 1607 Anniversary update, and the Macb...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Thanks heaps for the help guys. I'm happy to help share the knowledge in the English section as you sell more devices into the Western market you'll probably get a lot more questions. I have a couple of different PCs here that I'll try today when I get a chance. So you could replicate the problem Vi...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Aren't the button numbers hard coded to the physical button? So pinky on the Gladiator handle is always #47, or am I misunderstanding how the VJoy32 works with button assignments?

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Ok, loaded 1.80a (I thought I had the latest based off the FTP site, didn't realise there was a newer file in that thread). Unfortunately, still have the same problem. I changed the Keyboard to classic like before. Set on the joystick. Then configured physical layer for button 47 as per your picture...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Definitely only showing "Keyboard" in the list of options, so I went to the Global area and configured Keyboard as per your picture. My "Map" radio button was already ticked. My Keyboard was set to "off". I changed it to "Classic" as per your picture. I then s...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Actually, I just realised that you were in the physical layer, and not the logical layer. I found the config that you showed in the Physical section, and configured in the same way you did, however it's showing the pinky as registering as "Button 2" instead of the shift key. VKB Config1.pn...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Thank you for the reply Victorus. I'm not sure I fully understand what your saying. My VKBConfig looks slightly different, but I configured it as close to what you show as possible, however when I apply the config and then test, the pinky button continues to work the same as the factory default, and...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping
Just a quick question regarding Gladiator Pro button mapping, and didn't want to start another thread on it. Is there a way to be able to configure a joystick button to emulate just the "Shift" keyboard key? I've nutted out both Wizzo (very limited, by design) and the VKB Config program, h...

Re: Gladiator and T-Rudder Pre-Orders Now Shipping!
Well, I can stop spamming up this thread, as my Gladiator Pro just arrived 7 days ahead of schedule! Just in time for the weekend too, will have a good long play with the two different cam profiles and different spring strengths before I put my thoughts together.

Re: Modern stick
Wow, that looks seriously impressive. That grip design looks very ergonomic and functional, and potentially more axis if it has yoke style control in addition to the dual sticks.

Re: VKB Throttle
Very interesting concept, thanks for sharing. Does that configuration give you enough "grip" on the throttle though? It looks as though you'd really only have your left palm for control/leverage which seems not very optimal. Definitely having the VKB base will solve the blending axis probl...

Re: VKB Throttle
Yeah, there a very long running thread on the Star Citizen forums about that space mouse. It's an excellent concept, however what really lets it down is a) lack of buttons, and b) very short throw. The short throw is great in CAD applications where you are spinning and rotating an object, but in 6DO...

Re: VKB Throttle
Saturated by quantity, not necessarily quality. For those that want a modern joystick throttle combo, there are options on the market already, and if you want high end, then you still have the option of using a Warthog grip on a VKB gimbal. The early period flyers had pretty much nothing up until th...
