I thought they already had a plan to do that for VKB? It does say "official DCS joystick" on the box afterall.

There are old stickies everywhere that aren't relevant, the new firmware isn't on the official new firmware thread: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=2944 ...

It kind of makes it difficult to find things at the moment. Be nice if someone could clean them up.

I had the same issue until I got the beta firmware, that fixed it... probably will for you too.

Has nothing to do with being a "fanboy". Do you work for a living? People need time away to recharge for their own personal health, and that health is more important than you getting your toy immediately.

Is the new firmware coming out anytime soon for the gunfighter?

The lack of support is getting worrying... I have seen nothing from VKB with the exception of Rrohde... Did you open a support ticket tec?

Will these durability improved parts will be available for purchase separately for mk1 and 2 MCG?

If you are going to use locktite instead of the washers make sure it is blue or even better.. purple type.

Nevermind, seems the "But #1" number is now doing something... I swear it wasn't before. Fixed by setting one of them to start at 60 instead of 50.

Still, every now and then there are buttons pressed that aren't actually being pressed. A restart of the joystick fixes it.

Seems with the new firmware the MASTER MODE and GATE CONT axis when set to button press seem to conflict... they are pressing the same buttons. Also after setting a config to the joystick a bunch of random lights are lit up (keypresses) until I restarting the controller, sometimes twice. I defaulted...

Yep, same... pretty disappointing. I think it will be worth the wait... but still that longer wait is a bit annoying.

Hope they announce something soon... my X55 internal wires are getting worse... if the other company releases theirs and there is still no news from VKB I may have no choice.
