Nice! The software seems very powerful and allows you a lot of neat little tricks with the limited amount of buttons the Mamba grip offers! Good stuff - and thanks for sharing.

Well, as a Mamba MkIII user I have to say that the steel gimbal is amazing. I haven't had a smoother flight experience with any stick, and I even bough a TM Warthog HOTAS and don't use it because the VKB gimbal is that much better...

Did you sell the TM Warthog adapter as well?

Quick update: I hired a welder in order to customize the Obutto Ozone center-stick flight control mounts to accommodate my Mamba with its extension. He shortened the center-stick mounting tube by 3.5 inches, and brought it in more by removing the horizontal tube. He also cut the Ozone's flight stick...

Yeah I really hope the throttle is a modern jet variant - it's so much more flexible that a Space specific or WW2 specific throttle. I agree. Space-stuff should come from Saitek - that's their "thing". To me, VKB should look into replicas of existing military-style hardware for their mode...

That should work, and it looks like you could cannibalize the parts from the existing flight controller mount to create the new mount. Honestly it shouldn't cost too much going that route either. Worse comes to worse, if you are willing to do the cutting and prep you just need to find a welder. But...

The only time I saw only the NJOY device in the Config was after I ran the Bootloader. Did you do that by chance? If so, after you're done using the bootloader (for, e.g., flashing your device), you need to unplug the pedals from the NJOY device, and plug them back in... maybe that helps?

If I used that piece of metal, my Mamba + extension would be hard to reach when flying, because it would be to tall. ...
