Re: Gladiator NXT Setup...Stick too hard to push?
Well, the NXT isn't really designed specifically for use as a cyclic. You can do it and it will be better than the other joysticks at that price point (and a little bit more than that price point too) simply because it's a better joystick than the alternatives but it's not meant as a specifically de...

Re: Gladiator NXT Setup...Stick too hard to push?
Hello, I would like to know if you try the gladiator without springs or with #10 springs for helicopter simulation. I 'm interested for helicopter cyclic. Thanks for your return You can remove the springs and as you probably know, there's a setting the 'Special' tab for most helicopter modules in D...

Re: Gladiator NXT Setup...Stick too hard to push?
Yes, I found the video in another thread meanwhile. When you compare mine with the behaviour of the stick in the first seconds in the video...mine behaved FAR stickier or harder, you couldnt push it with two fingers at all...it took 4x the time to move back to the middle. Really not unusable. I don...

Re: Same BlackBox for T Rudder and Gunfighter Mk.III ‘Modern Combat Edition’ Ultimate
The 8 axis limit (and 128 'button' bindings limit) is per USB HID ( H uman I nterface D evice, for our purposes a joystick, throttle, collective rudder pedals, button box etc is a HID). Essentially, in this case, the HID that Windows sees is the BlackBox; so, as a HID, the BlackBox has capacity for ...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
Well I'm giving up, I find it disappointing that VKB chooses to let their fan boys do their talking for them instead of providing the patient community of buyers with a basic update, even a high level one.... NOTHING.... My TM16000 is getting worse by the day and I need to replace it, so I don't th...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
The implication seems to be that VKB are just messing around in a shed with a couple of drill presses and a soldering iron but also the owners are so rich, that if a product fails, or even the company itself fails, the owners will just be a bit sad, shrug their shoulders and go back to complaining t...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
[sigh] If TECS is dead in the water in any regard, it'll either be because: ⋅ VKB have run out of money to finish the development/set up a new production line/pay their staff ⋅ VKB have hit a problem with the electronic detent that they just can't get round, it's just not working...

Re: VKB COLLECTIVES!!!!
Market's a bit crowded really and collectives are kinda simple so the only realistic way to stand out from the crowd would be to make a product of such high quality that it's the one to get and that's very hard to achei... ...oh wait...Gunfighter Mk III + MCG Pro Ultimate... Seriously though, ...

Ah that's interesting. Maybe it's possible that the specific product you used may be an issue. Which series did you use?

Re: Gladiator NXT Return Spring Levers
Nice job. You might offer these for sale to people that want them or maybe, if you're feeling very generous, out the CAD files somewhere public. Interesting find about the Nyogel. Did you pick Delrin due to some 'non-expanding-in-the-presence-of-Nyogel' characteristic or was it just the 'mech...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
You know the replies you got in r/hotas? Pretty much the same people will be replying here!
And those that didn't reply there (i.e. those that could tell you for sure) aren't going to reply here either!
Fair enough though, worth a punt.

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
The consensus was that it meant not by end of February 2021 (which was a potential release mentioned in a post by VKB the previous summer).
That said, we simple don't know how far away the release of TECS is. [shrug]

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
Now the problem with announcing any kind of release date usually leads to this: Any PLANNED estimate given by VKB HQ - which is also relayed on various forums and VKB partner sites, will be taken out of context by those who perceive them as a PROMISE to release on a guaranteed date. As we all know,...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
All impatient questions - what do you think will be the answer to such questions about future products, if they are asked, for example, Thrustmasters or Logitech? adequate companies, when announcing a device, are ALWAYS telling customers when to expect it. That's just a common sense for a business....

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
Okay, you could go Virpil but might I offer an alternative suggestion (I think this is probably okay as right now VKB don't offer a collective but if it's not then Mods should feel free to delete this post) The K-51 Collective: https://www.reddit.com/r/hotas/comments/mpau9e/k51_collective_arrived_an...
