Run VKBDevCfg, select the device at the top, click the Default button, then Yes to the configure popup which shows up after restart. Calibrate afterwards. If still doesn't work, try on another computer or in Safe mode, then see what software is getting in the way.

The mounting screws are included only in the MFH combos. They are 30mm for the top and 35mm for the bottom position on the MHF, but if you have your own mounts make sure you're not using screws too long, as they might damage the boards inside.

Check if there's any metal residue stuck on the magnet. Also, you'll have to reset to default, reinitialize and recalibrate after taking it apart.

Upload a screenshot of VKBDevCfg so we could see your firmware version.

Just run VKBDevCfg, select the device at the top and click the Default button under the Tools tab. After the restart you'll get a popup asking to configure; click Yes.
Calibrate afterwards following this guide.

This has been fixed on Discord by reflashing an older firmware, right?
