Re: US/Canada Customers: Who wants a VKB Gunfighter?

Would it be possible to delay the shipping of my Gunfighter base until the MCG and twist adaptor can be shipped with it? And if so, would that let me save on shipping for the latter two? The only stick I have whose grip might fit the Gunfighter base is my Cobra M5, so I'd kinda prefer to wait until ...

Re: A few ideas for a potential Space Throttle

*snip* So basically take a joystick base, remove the grip and gimbal, and click a throttle's internals and handle in? And that way you can get the necessary range of motion that a throttle has in the Y axis, as well as X axis functionality? Sounds good! And then you can have different grips, all wi...

Re: A few ideas for a potential Space Throttle

As long as its ambidextrous and has a reverse detent it will be a great product :) Well, considering the role the thumb plays in controls, and the horizontal rather than vertical orientation of three out of four of the proposals... The Delta Stick is the exception, and would be roughly as easy to m...

A few ideas for a potential Space Throttle

I was on the HOTAS subreddit, and a user known as 'ngetal' posted a rather interesting breakdown of current throttles: Assuming you want 6dof in a space sim like E:D and you have your rotational controls sorted by your main hand stick plus pedals perhaps, and want all the translation controls on you...

Wait, I'm confused...

I got the newsletter, and... I'm confused. It said: Based on feedback from the VKB forum polls, VKB HQ is now considering a left-hand only version of the Kosmosima grip with built-in, lockable twist, and a right-hand only modern jet grip, with optional adapter for twist. There's also talk about a de...

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots

I'm mostly a HOTAS player at the moment, but when I borrowed a friend's stick to test HOSAS out, I really liked it, and used the right stick in ED for X: Roll, Y: Pitch, Z: Yaw , and the left for X: Horizontal Translate, Y: Throttle Z: Vertical Translate. When playing SC, I swap the right-hand Y and...

Re: Questions and Answers

You should get the Gunfighter and then later use the grips you like as VKB makes them available. The goal is to not think of the Gunfighter as a stick that comes with a limited initial grip, but as a solid (rather awesome) base to add more functionality later via the various grips that will come ou...

Re: Questions and Answers

1) Will the space sim grip have a pinkie switch? 2) When the various modular grips come out, will there be fresh runs of the Gunfighter itself if you're running low on stock, so we can be guaranteed of being able to buy both at once? Or, if we're only interested in a certain grip, should we (could w...

Re: Questions and answers

Will the space-sim grip for the Gunfighter have a pinkie shift? Like the Cobra M5, or the normal grip for the Gunfighter? Because the Gunfighter gimbal seems like everything I want, but if the space-sim grip is missing what is for me a key feature, I might have to think about it. Also, will the Gunf...

Re: Questions and answers

I only just bought a Cobra to serve as a stand-in stick until the Gunfighter came out. Could've saved that money and bought a Gunfighter sooner. Hello, Well, at the moment the Gunfighter is in final stage of development and almost ready to be prototyped. It is not just a different housing but diffe...

Re: Questions and answers

It appears that in early in October Gunfighter will be released, but initially without "twist rudder", you will need await a bit more. :) What? Dammit. I only just bought a Cobra to serve as a stand-in stick until the Gunfighter came out. Could've saved that money and bought a Gunfighter ...
