Re: Where/When I can I buy a Warthog adapter for the Gladiator Pro?

[ related official clarification - for reference ] From UIV: During our latest session about VKB roadmap Eduard has misunderstood me. I have told him that VKB does not recommend to install a grip extension for Gladiator pro together with Warthog grip due to excessive forces may be applied to a plas...

Re: Gladiator joystick in Europe

One important thing to keep in mind is that these OEM versions, with very limited programmability, are not compatbible with the pre-made profiles offered by VKB . For example, you won't be able to use the A/B/C base buttons as virtual axes for trimming, no long-press functions, no 2-modes functions ...

Re: WTB: Fat Black Mamba MkIII stick extension

I'm not aware of any specific schedule but it would be reasonable to think they'll be produced with the Gunfighter. Hopefully around the end of the year or Q1 2017.

Great idea. That would improve the visibility.

Re: Gladiator Pro configuration problems

The Gladiator and Gladiator Pro share the same controller. That's why the name appears as "VKBsim Gladiator". Fortunately, no issue here at least  ---- Just tested: trying to update the firmware following the aforementioned steps does not work. (wizzo 0.73 + Z-Bootloader 0.97 + firmw...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping

[EDIT: Oh wow ok, those things just happen :D Glad you sorted it out! I'm quite busy right now and I didn't take the time to read everything ;) It's always easy to miss a tiny detail. At least no aircraft has gone in flames! Have fun with your Gladiator Pro! ] ------- I'm not sure what dropdown lis...

Re: Gladiator Pro Button Re-Mapping

I won't be of a tremendous help, but I can confirm I managed to assign a left shift key to the eject button, following the initial steps.
I'm using the VKB Device Config v0.77.71 - Caillin, you can grab it from my Dropbox.

Re: VKB Throttle

That's interesting as I also used the Orbweaver (with Elite Dangerous), but I used the D-pad for the energy macros. It was really comfortable and using a X-55 throttle (primarily purchased for DCS) did not improve the controls that much. Thanks to the great controls settings in ED it's been easy to ...

Re: VKB Throttle

Indeed. It really depends on the different controls you would need simultaneously. And with all these hats depending on the thumb, it's probably better to have the mini-stick on less-busy finger :) That's one of the reasons why I prefer my thrusters controls under my right thumb (space sim in mind) ...

Re: VKB Throttle

I'm very curious about the future throttles ergonomics (VKB and others). In the modern aircraft, a throttle regroups a very specific set of controls designed for a specific aircraft. Even if most of the current flight/space simulations offer several similar controls and functions, it's always a chal...

Re: Looking for help with configuring my VKB gladiator

I checked the process with WIZZO 0.73 and my Gladiator but it didn't go well. Did you try using the VKB Device Config ( v0.77.66 )? Copy the .exe in the same folder next to wizzo.exe and ZBootloader-C.exe. ⋅ Select your device and hit the Bootloader button (in the Tools tab) ⋅ Se...

Thanks for dropping by Victor.

Then in DCS World the pedals axis should appear as JOY_RX in the controls configuration window.
(just tested with my T-Rudder by modifying the axis HID from X to Rx)

Good point. With some solid space sims around, the dual sticks configuration becomes rather common.

Re: T-Rudder Mk.IV - Need Help

Thanks for all the details. To my (limited) knowledge, the only thing that seems unusual in your picture is the V_MaRS input type in the "Physical Axes" tab, first line, axis #1 (mine is set to D_MaRS - which stands for Digital MagnetoResistive Sensor). But, again, I don't own a Black Box,...
