Re: It's Here!
Lucky you! So, how does that grip feels? Plastics quality? How's the hat sensitivity/feeling? Is it comfortable to use with the thumb (as the original design was only a push button)? Congratulations for that neat combo. Even your mech keyboard looks great. You now have no choice but to excel in the ...

Re: Transferring Funds and other Questions
Hi, Yes, they will answer to your email ;) Of course! The fund transfer usually requires IBANs (International Bank Account Number) (or BIC/SWIFT) (one for the buyer and one for the seller) and a transfer order (the money will be transferred from your bank account directly to their business bank acco...

[profile] Black Mamba + Su-27 for DCS
So I was reviewing my controls for the Su-27 in DCS, I opened the VKB Device Config and wonders happened. I was wondering if I could create a new virtual button using an existing button as a modifier, only for one specific button and without loosing that modifier as a simple button. It's p...

Re: Questions and answers
What kind of software will we have with Vkb joystick? Hi hon0, VKB devices use the VKB Device Config software . It's not script-based but it can be rather complex depending on what you're trying to achieve. There's no detailed documentation available in english or french (yet) but that sticky might...

Re: Vintage mamba 'ping' sound on roll axis
Hi, I have the same gimbal (MkIII with cams) on my Black Mamba (classic) and there should not be any noticeable sound. I'd suggest you remove the base plate (very easy) and inspect the x axis movement and the spring's behavior to identify the origin of the sound. The only think I could think of, is ...

Hi Weegie,
If I'm not mistaken, the stiffest ones are the darker springs on the right.
There's a similar thread here, but without any official confirmation.

Re: Fat Black Mamba Y axis going crazy
Hi Mr Dinsdale, Did you tweak anything in the Physical Axes tab? Something definitely looks wrong here: http://i.imgur.com/yP7Ck0w.jpg The axis #2 (it's the Y axis) should use the D_MaRS setting. On your screenshot it's on A_MaRS (analogic). Could you try to change this, apply the settings and repor...

Re: t-rudder mk III, can't get them to work in dcs world
Sometimes, I also have difficulties assigning other axes in DCS. When I use the axis (e.g. moving the stick or turning a rotary) nothing appears in the axis assignment window. I would assume you have the same issue? (and it's not related to a specific device) In that case I usually move the axis bac...

Re: Impeccable timing...
The cam's shape has been developed to compensate the Warthog grip weight (slightly pulling the stick to the front).
It should be more balanced.
If you're interested, I'd suggest you ask VKB if you can order that specific cam alone.

Re: Please identify the various springs that came with my Mamba + Extension
You're welcome. But keep in mind the springs rates I posted are merely an exercise in guesswork
I tried to test the springs when I chose one for my pitch axis, but only Ilya/UIV or another VKB engineer will be able to clarify.
I hope I'll win the game nonetheless

Re: Please identify the various springs that came with my Mamba + Extension
Hey, that's the day-one patch-free-DLC-minigame, right ? http://i.imgur.com/UKSUr7H.jpg I want to play! I'd say E is for the extender (duh) and the big muscle here (not included if you don't have the extender). C is installed on my pitch axis and I believe it's the (next) stiffest one (at least, I t...

Re: It's finally here!
Congratulations for joining the club of the lucky owners, Mr WHIMington! The cams labelled "30" are the "hard center" ones. Except for the noticeable center, I can't feel any difference compared to the default ("10", soft center) cams. I also remembered you shared your ...

Re: Where are the .......???
I wrote a quick first impression about the MkIII gimbal if you're interested >>> HERE <<< (also check the following posts). The Gladiator Pro should have a very similar gimbal. I would also like to read and watch a review on SimHQ, Mudspike, Froogle Sim, Russian YouTubers and such. We should try to ...

Re: Combining T-Rudder & Black Mamba
I think it was possible when the Throttle Box was available (I didn't have the chance to get one) (check my signature). The Black Box should allow such combination but I'm not sure it will be compatible with the current Black Mamba + T-Rudder connectors (I convinced the required adapters will be ava...

Re: First pics of Gladiator Production Sample
It's looking great! Thanks for the update, Jason. It should do a great job as a dedicated flightstick for the WWII legendary aircraft (like the Bf109 both available in IL2 and DCS iirc - and probably War Thunder). That KG-12 grip should even be a perfect match with the recently released MiG-15bis (D...
