Re: how to use POV hat for trim buttons
I didn't read through your whole post. How that hat works is--starting with view hat mode--long press changes the hat's state to a dual axis. A short press--short press--will center the axii when it's in that mode. If you're in view mode a short press does nothing. To find which axii the hat is usin...

Re: how to use POV hat for trim buttons
Curves is the answer you're looking for. There's a vid on the VKB YT channel that explains how to set them up better than I can here.

Re: how to use POV hat for trim buttons
Once you have everything calibrated go into the game's controllers setup. I have the MCG-Pro grip. The upper center 8-way hat is a dual use hat. Long press the center and it changes that hat to a two axis by default so you shouldn't have to change anything in the VKB software to do this. I find this...

Re: Gladiator Sleep mode?
Either way, go into the device manager and expand the tree of your hunam interface devices and usb serial bus controllers. Look at them all. Check the power management tabs and make sure those boxes are UN-checked. Otherwise windows might tend to turn off that particular controller for your convenie...

Re: Cannot update firmware of Gunfighter MCG Pro
I thought of something. You say it's a regular GF/MCG-Pro stick that you added the twist adapter to. So you're using the twist FW. Try using the non twist FW with it and see if it identifies. I wonder if it's identifying wrong because it's technically a non-twist stick other than the mod. Reason I'm...

Re: Cannot update firmware of Gunfighter MCG Pro
I still don't see if you've tried actually resetting the black box. Resetting it basically erases everything and brings it back to it's base state of just the plain jane black box. After doing that you'll see the device shown in the bootloader as something like NJoy32 device. At THAT point you can t...

Re: Cannot update firmware of Gunfighter MCG Pro
Reset the black box? Something is screwey for sure. New black ones have a button to press while plugging it in. The older orange ones you have to short two pins on the PCB while plugging it in. Kind of a PITA on that one as you have to open the case to get at the pins. Process is described in the ma...

Re: Release notes for firmware 2.11.5 and tool v0.92.33
I usually download the updated configs and firmwares as they come out. Pay no attentionto my sig, I haven't updated it in a while! Not sure which version of config I'm on but want to say it's 92.33 or whatever the newest one is. IIRC when I looked at the top it was only compatible up to FW v2.11.0 s...

Re: Sticks stop working properly after a while
Just a thought but if unplugging and plugging back in restores the function I wonder if it's a windows power management setting that's killing you. Look in the device manager and click through all of your USB devices. Look at the tab that says power management and make sure that's UN-ticked. That wa...

Re: Release notes for firmware 2.11.5 and tool v0.92.33
Come to think of it, I don't recall seeing release notes for any update of firmware or software--ever. Or did I just miss it?

Re: HELP WITH WAR THUNDER AND GLADIATOR NXT
Don't play War Thunder myself. But if the game recognizes the axii of the stick you could set up a profile for WT in Devconfig with curves that might tune out the jumpiness. Keep tweaking it until you find something that might work.

Re: HELP WITH WAR THUNDER AND GLADIATOR NXT
First things that come to mind are: Have you fullly calibrated the stick in VKB Devconfig? Then calibrated in game? These sticks are really precise generally but you have to start there. It's important. Also--DO NOT try to calibrate these sticks in windows. Bad things will happen.
