Re: Are your gunfighter's metal cams dead silent?
I've been wondering about lubrication on the Gunfighter base as well. I know of some great greases that would work well with plastic components but if it's NOT recommended, that would be good to know also.

Re: MCG-Pro vs. TM Warthog Stick
Actually, as mentioned in my reply, only two of the hats are Analogue axises. The other hats/buttons are Omron microswitches. Also, the Analogue hats can be configured as digital on/off if preferred in the control software. Yes, right. I suppose the way I wrote it sounded like ALL the hats are anal...

Re: MCG-Pro vs. TM Warthog Stick
Something that wasn't mentioned in the previous comment is that all the hats on the WH grip are digital buttons whereas on the MCG they're analog or digital buttons. When I use my HOTAS I have vertical and lateral thrusters on thumb stick. Having analog would give me more precise control.

Re: Dual sticks + pedals concept advice
Having begun playing Star Citizen after playing Elite Dangerous, I would say that I'm no longer interested in twist on my right hand. With full motion pitch and yaw in Star Citizen, it makes the small range of motion you have with Z-Axis twist very difficult to control. I'm going to have MCG with no...

Re: Gunfighter pro newbie questions.
Like rrohde said, the Gladiator Pro doesn't have a Z Axis twist. If that's what your asking about, it's likely your confusion is caused by the Gladiator (non-pro) having a twist. I mention this because I was confused about this myself. The difference is the metal gimbal inside the pro vs the plastic...

Re: Order Processing Time
I didn't see an email from VKB earlier this week but I did get a text from DHL this morning. After reading this thread, I checked my junk mail folder and sure enough, important info from VKB got filtered into there even though I normally get announcement emails okay. Thanks for the update rrhode

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots
A thought just occurred to me... etc. etc. etc... the inclusion of a twist axis. I really like this suggestion, in fact, my favorites on this thread are ones that add different functionality to the left hand grip (such as your double ended trigger, or the throttle rotary or making the stick act lik...

Use possibilities of Gunfighter with SCG
I'm only a HOTAS user and have never done HOSAS (mostly because I only have one stick) as such, I've been on the HOTAS side of the fence until today. Today I realized that with the clutches and cams of the Gunfighter base, you should be able to make a stick act like a throttle, but with x-axis abili...

Re: KG12 & MCG Pro Metal Replica
I can't speak for VKB but I read somewhere of the possibility of the KG12 Metal grip being released around the same time as the WWII variant of the throttle (first variant) So, whenever the throttle comes out... would be awesome if it were this year but I'm not holding my breath!

Re: Left hand grips?
From what I've seen, the Kosmosima or SpaceCombatGrip (SCG) is the only one in left hand grip they're developing at the moment. I would imagine, after VKB has developed all its products currently in the pipeline that it will work on other things, such as left hand variants of MCG or metal variants o...

Re: An early look at the MCG Pro
Awesome. Very much looking forward to this grip. I didn't see any information about the twist add-on, can you give us any info about that? I wont be using this until I have the twist functionality on the MCG also. Also, in some of the pictures I see the secondary, flip-up trigger appears double, is ...

Re: US/Canada Customers: Who wants a VKB Gunfighter?
I'm going to get the Gunfighter base only and apply the MCG or Kosmosima grip when they come out, depending which will work best for my right hand stick setup. I'm also very interested in the ECP for the Gunfighter and the TCS. Just keep in mind that the 'Space Combat Grip SCG' (or 'Kosmosima') wil...

Re: US/Canada Customers: Who wants a VKB Gunfighter?
Even though voting is closed, I'll give you my decision just so you have more consumer insight. I've recently been having issues with my X55 HOTAS after a couple years of playing Elite: Dangerous. After reading about it, I'm learning that Saitek and this HOTAS specifically are of a mediocre build qu...
