Re: "Omni Throttle"/angled adapter

Another option is making that axis 'relative'. So you're only 'altering' the throttle when deflecting, watch your in-game HUD or whatnot to see the speed indicator hit where you want, then release back to 'center', and that last value is held. Use a button to zero. This had not occurred to me, and ...

Re: "Omni Throttle"/angled adapter

There's probably multiple ways, but here's what I did. I guess I didn't so much 'curve' the twist in my case, as just crank up the rate of change. I'm using VKBDevCfg by the way, just to be clear, in case you weren't (Wizzo still an option?) Profile tab at bottom. In the Logical Axes page (top half)...

Re: "Omni Throttle"/angled adapter

I don't think that base has dry clutches -- disclaimer, I do not own one. Another option is making that axis 'relative'. Re: gunfighter mk3 occasional flakiness

I'm not official just offering my experience. I've always slid the grip down after getting the little split-angled "rusk" bolt well aligned to slip it over the shaft, peeled back the dust cover a bit to fish the hex tool into place, and then been sure to put firm (but not 'straining', Hulk...

Re: "Omni Throttle"/angled adapter

We know it didn't make it out with the "4 good guys" panels, which were this holiday season's big new product release...but they were willing to tease it then at least which is a good sign. They've implied the Omnithrottles will be in the next wave (with the angled adapter for the GNX poss...

Re: LEDs - Can Gladiator NXT communicate with MSFS

I'm not official by any means, but I don't think so. I think that would require some sort of serial data sent to the controller from the game. Does the game even offer any sort of 'status' API, first? (I found some references to SimConnect so it appears possibly so...) You can link certain behaviors...

Re: Calibration with locked twist

Hi, I have L&R NXTs, all working fine. I keep the right stick's twist locked with the screw, but when calibrating I remove the screw so I can calibrate all axes. Is this actually necessary? It would be easier to leave the screw in place, and of course I don't care if that twist axis doesn't wor...

Re: Gunfighter Mk. III + MCG Ultimate Springs

Hello everyone, I just received my Gunfighter Mk. III with the Modern Combat Grip Ultimate (all metal) yesterday. I am a bit of a rookie when I comes to such professional gear. But I have noticed that the springs that come pre-installted with the stick are a bit on the weak side (#20 I believe). I ...

Re: CAD/step files for Gunfighter base

IF you want just the dimensions of the extrusion and its 4 holes, that you can position on an extrusion endplate outline any way you want, maybe this old thread will help? http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=3389&p=33352#p33352 ...at end of that thread I even shared my DXF file I b...

OP, post more of a close up of your existing Warthog mount. You probably just need a different baseplate.

They posted over on reddit that they were just waiting on the official photos to launch the various store pages (my paraphrase, not exact quote). It's past 0700 for me (US Central, about noon Zulu) as I type.

Re: Gladiator NXT messing with my screen saver

Interesting I think this has just started happening to me; I didn't put it together with the sticks because I've had them forever, but I did notice lately when I go away and come back (not gaming, just computer sitting idle with a browser or MS Office window of some sort open) my screensaver hasn't ...

Re: I need help programming my MCG Ultimate (IL2 BOS)

I get his confusion though, and think I understand his intent. It can be really daunting. There's so much you could do, either in game, in VKBDevCfg, in something external like Joystick Gremlin or whatever. What's the best approach, the best path? In the end there's so many choices there really is n...

Re: I need help programming my MCG Ultimate (IL2 BOS)

Apologies if all the below seems really patronizing, but are you basically asking about the whole "philosophy" of control architectures? I think you are but if I'm wrong all this nattering is going to be annoying as heck... Not sure if this helps, but think of any analog control as having ...

Re: VKB EXTENSION MODULES: FOUR GOOD GUYS

Soooo... when do I find out how much of a hit my wallet is taking? Also, any chance for pre-ordering? I normally am against the practice, but am wanting to upgrade to a Gladiator NXT, rudder pedals, and get a button box while I'm at it, and would prefer to save money on shipping. Or will the thrott...
