Re: 200mm extension slightly skewed?
Your pictures show exactly how it is supposed to be. Mine is the same way. Put one of the connections "straight" and adjust the angle with the other as you like. If you twist both, then naturally the angle will be greater as you're now using two sets of adjustment slots adding their degree...

Re: Where are all the manuals?
What exactly are you trying to do? Just physically put the extension on? There's no special setting for that if that's what you mean. If you're adding an extension after not having one like I did, you'll probably find you need more spring tension. It's a matter of preference. There's a pretty huge m...

Re: Gunfighter Mk. III + MCG Ultimate Springs
Your base curve is just a straight diagonal line with the center of travel at the lower left corner and the edge of travel being at the upper right. That's just a plain Jane linear curve. Put a little bend in that upper right corner so that it extends more vertically to the left of the corner. Play ...

Re: Gunfighter Mk. III + MCG Ultimate Springs
Curves would do the same thing. But as I understood you were having a hard time with the extreme ends of the throw? You can use curves on that end and leave the center as is. That's how I've set mine up so I don't have so much travel in either axis. I'm using a 200mm extension too. I have enough spr...

GNX THQ spec?
Was looking to upgrade my Logitech quadrant with these but I was wondering what the actual sensor spec is. I'm not seeing it in the description. If they're contactless like with the Gunfighter, I'm all over it. Please don't tell me they have pots in them! Thanks.

Re: Gunfighter Mk. III + MCG Ultimate Springs
If you like how the stick feels physically with your current setup but still need to tweak it I'd suggest playing around with curves in the configurator. You can make a profile with different curves for each plane as you like.

Re: technical question before purchase
I just copy/pasted the link. Must not have gotten part of it. I just skimmed the post and missed you're using Linux, but this will work with windows. Maybe it can work with Linux? Basically, how this works is you're editing a file with a text editor and cut/paste the device IDs in the order you want...

I've used this. It will put into whatever order you like your controllers to be in a game. Give it a try.

Play around with curves in Devconfig. That might get you closer to what you're looking for.

Re: GF III black box flashing red - no communication with stick
No problem! I'm glad to help. FYI those little connectors have a tendency to work themselves loose over time. If you start getting odd glitchiness like a pot going bad? There are no pots to go bad on these so it's likely a connector has worked loose as you've been moving the stick. Just reset it lik...

And I'd echo your experience wth the extension. I didn't have it initially but changed my setup to where I could use it. With the 200mm extension it's another factor of precise over what is the most precise stick I've ever had.

Yeah well there's tightened and then there's-- TIGHTENED! If he's got them snugged full up actually tight it's no wonder he's feeling it. That's what I think he's describing. That's not the idea of the clutches. Full up tight is how it comes from the factory but it's right in the startup guide to lo...

Check that the white wire connectors inside the base are connected to the PCBs. Might have knocked the one that comes from the grip loose while you were changing the springs.

Re: Any way to "dampen" the spring in the Gunfighter III via VKBDevCfg?
Boom, my advice to track this down is to first loosen the dampers completely. Do you still feel some sticktion? You shouldn't. If so then something else is hanging up on the gimbal. You'll have to open up the base and make sure the roller bearings are moving freely across the cam--not sliding but ro...
