I don't own warthog but i can tell you about gunfighter. Gimball base is all metal giving fantastic feel. Kg12 grip is party metal and partly plastic and i think it is better than full metal grip cos of weight (less weight give better recentering and less unneccessary force on gimbal base making it ...

You use extension and warthog grip which is heavy so i guess default "soft cams" and default "30" springs are weak.
Even without extension and heavy grip it wont center it perfect with soft springs and cams.
Try with #30 cams(cams with detent) and 40 or 50 springs

Note to others trying the same;
Use some some kind of tape to close holes to prevent sealant to came in touch with electrical components and to stay in desired area and shape.

Couldn't hold my horses!
I used some aircraft parts to mod it (immersion) and PRC (rubber sealant) we use on our amphibious planes to cover hole on the left side and to hide bolts and nuts on right side.

Also after you set it up by your needs you'll need to calibrate joystick.

There is always way to fix things, just take a picture of nut and bolt you have problem with and mayve i can help you. I'm aircraft maintenance engineer and for us there is always solution ;) Also i can make a video showing how to change cams and springs. I'll post it here tomorrow! Don't give up, i...
