Советую поискать в инете информацию о солидоле+пластик. Возможно, ничего не случится со временем. Но возможен и совсем обратный результат. Будьте более осторожны в своих экспериментах.

Можно попробовать сначала установить дрова на материнскую плату (ну очень много девайсов с желтыми треугольниками).
Затем попробовать подключать через хаб USB 2.0.
Ну и последнее - попробовать на другой машине проверить с Win7.

The twist axis should be re-calibrated, because the numbers 255, 255 on the 3rd axis say that it is not calibrated. You can activate the Partial Calibration checkbox in Settings to call the calibration of only a certain axis.
