Re: Shift Button

Is shift usable across devices. Can the we use a button on stick as shift for another VKB stick?

Re: Preferred Cam/Springs for Space sims

Right now I'm using the stock springs and cams, it seems fine though you need adjust the deadzone, and possibly the response curve. Changing the springs will change thing resistance but not the sensitivity. I wouldn't recommend changing the cams. On my left stick I have the #30 cams with #10 springs...

Re: Gunfighter MCG pro Primary Trigger 1st Stage Not Registering

Yeah looks like the spring in bowing instead of compressing. I stuck some folded card in there and it solved it. Its too hard to tell if the spring is twisting to toughen it with tweezers :)

MCG Pro Rev A Dual Trigger Issue?

I'm just wondering if anyone is experience issues with the dual trigger not he MCG Pro. I can't seem to consistently activate stage 1 only. I have some luck when pulling at the top of the trigger, but pulling from the bottom activates both then I can release the second stage as I let go. Just trying...

Re: Questions and Answers

@rrohde thanks for the update on teh MCG production schedule. I was wondering if the MCG developent is still running concurrently with twist adaptor, or if there is a chance we may see it earlier.

Thanks

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots

When th etwist adaptor comes out, I assume it will function as an small extension tube added to he stick. Are there plans for a corresponding passthrough tube someone doens't want twist on both the left and right?

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

I just saw the design on the MCG, it's looking good. I was wondering if the break lever will be on the left hand grip as well. My thinking is that it would work well for vertical strafe. One hand for Up the other for Down. I'm also curious about the ergonomics and precision of the ministicks.

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

I'm currently running dual T16K, I removed the throttle slider from the left stick and rewired it a thumbwheel pot that I've inserted between the stick and the thumbrest. The only thing that would make it better is if it was a notched thumbwheel so I had tactile indication of it's postion. Personall...

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

The slider has many other uses if you don't want it as a major control axis. In Elite you can use it to set sensor range and I'm sure there are a lot of other practical uses. Perhaps you could bind it as a power distributer so you have a quick way to shift power to engines and so on. For me a slide...

Re: Question for Star Citizen pilots

I prefer dual twist or at least no rudder pedals. My current setup is right stick x = yaw y = picth and z = roll for SC. The ship handling characteristic lend themselves to much more yaw focused gameplay. The left stick is x = lateral translation y = forward/back z = up/down. On the left the twist i...

Re: Another question for Star Citizen pilots

I don't think they need to be mirror of each other, but they do need to be similar. Similar Height and deflection angles, but button layout can be different. Since button layouts won't control the same things (other than maybe triggers) differences may actually be better. My current setup is 2x T16K...
