Re: Broken wire ribbon on Gladiator NXT

Same thing happened to the red wire on my Gunfighter Mk III Pro, I soldered it back together and wrapped electrical tape around the joint.
I sent support an email last week inquiring if I could purchase a couple of wire harnesses to have as spares just in case, however never got any response.

Re: Question on using clutch on Gunfighter Mk III Pro L

Ok she's back together now, loosed the roll clutch a little more. Still have some creaking at the extremes on the roll axis, not too bad. It may eventually stop at some point after repeated use. I am sure it is the clutch being a little tighter that is causing this. Going to leave it for now and see...

Re: Question on using clutch on Gunfighter Mk III Pro L

Well I will say for me to be able to get some Nylogel under those dampers would probably require I take apart more than I feel comfortable doing. I better leave as is.

Re: Question on using clutch on Gunfighter Mk III Pro L

Yep as a matter of fact I do have some 767A. Sounds like a good project for this afternoon, was not planning on flying until tomorrow. Just hope I don't end up screwing a wire up again. Last time I worked inside this thing I ended up apparently with a pinched wire, it was cut in two. Luckily I had s...

Question on using clutch on Gunfighter Mk III Pro L

Hey gang, So I have been making some adjustments in my hardware this morning. I use the Gunfighter Mk III Pro L with MCG Ultimate Grip with the 200mm extension. I wanted to add some damping action with the clutches, so I adjusted them a few turns in on both axis - probably around 6 turns or so. Been...

Gunfighter Mk III broken wire

So I was flying in DCS and all of a sudden my Hornet went into an uncontrollable roll. I exit out of the game and checked in the VKB software and my axis were going crazy. Then a short time later unresponsive. Buttons were unresponsive also. I think oh no this can't be good. So I pulled the gimbal o...

Re: switching joysticks for different jets

It's really not that big of a deal but not as simple as just swapping the grip and going. You have to reflash the black box every time you change grips. Reason being the firmwares are set up for specific combinations of grip and base. You have to flash the right firmware so that the black box knows...

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)

That is one nice thing about VKB, once they announced the product as being final they proceed to ordering and the first batch relatively quickly. Look how quick the Ultimate grip came out after it's announcement.

Re: app to print out button mappings?

Asobo with MSFS 2020 put a neat feature in their controller binding menu, a picture of the actual device being mapped. Only thing is I am sure it is only for the more mainstream popular devices. In my case I had a Warthog Throttle and it showed up in the menu - picture of device with button assignme...

Re: MCG Ultimate. Close up.

I changed out my two gray and one red button caps, to the three black that were included with the grip as extras.
The Ultimate is now my stealth grip. I call her "Black Beauty".
