Re: MCG Ultimate Paddle Lever gave out
Pretty sure that spring is broken. When I flipped the grip over I thought I saw something fall out of it. Looking good on my floor I found a small piece that appears to be the same size as that spring probably about 1/2" to 3/4" long. Betting that is why that spring just rotates now when l...

Re: MCG Ultimate Paddle Lever gave out
Well I got it apart and the spring is in there, but don't see anywhere it attaches to. Not sure if that means it is broke or what..

Re: MCG Ultimate Paddle Lever gave out
Ok so I found a download pdf from VKB on disassembling the MCG Pro along with a video by Noobifier.
I think I am ready to go in there now and hopefully will see what needs to be done. Will update here in a bit.

Re: MCG Ultimate Paddle Lever gave out
Most likely, the spring has come off. When installing it, pay attention to the presence of a washer under it. Ron, any guidance you might can give me would be greatly appreciated. I assume I need to take the grip apart to access this? I would also note I have two MCG Pro grips available in addition...

Re: MCG Ultimate Paddle Lever gave out
Ok so to get it off to check, is it just the one phillips head screw holding it in?
Edit - took the small phillips head screw out and did not seem to do anything, not sure how to get to the spring in that lever.

MCG Ultimate Paddle Lever gave out
The paddle lever on my MCG Ultimate Grip has lost all tension and just moves freely now.
Is this something easily repaired? Is it a spring that has likely broken or what?
Thanks for any tips,

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
I am anxiously awaiting the throttle offering from VKB as well. But I got tired of my old Warthog throttle and invested in the new Virpil CM3 throttle when it was released and am happy I did. Now I am a bit of a flight sim hardware junkie, so I am sure I will also order the new TECS unit from VKB wh...

Re: Recommend a throttle to use with my VKB stick
Don't let that status of back order fool ya. This is the new Virpil ordering system, and it has confused more than yourself. Everything is going to show either back order or pre-order. You have to get an order placed if you want one. There is a thread over on their forums where folks are posting det...

Man they sure have been teasing us on this TECS throttle for some time now.
Wonder if we will see anything this year?

Re: y axis doesn't calibrate properly
First thing I would try is removing the stick from the base and carefully re-attaching. Also whilst removed inspect the cables to see if any are pinched. I recently had a problem with a pinched wire that eventually cut in two. Just before I had opened it up to add some springs and apparently got a w...

Re: Recommend a throttle to use with my VKB stick
I recently picked up the Virpil CM3 Throttle and am very happy with it. I really like the assortment of physical detents. I had an issue with the mini stick sticking in one direction, support took care of it pretty quickly. I received it back exactly two weeks from sending it off in good order. Way ...

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD
I've been wondering that as well. The original post says that it will incorporate rubber pads that are similar to the ultimate. That suggests it would at least be possible for it to have a metal version. I'm hoping that metal construction is one of the "outstandingly sweet extras" that is...

Re: 2 #50 Springs on MCG Pro Ulitmate
That is where I am currently and really love it. (#30 and #50 per axis).
I also have some dampening dialed in with the clutches to firm up the center some.
