Re: Gladiator MKII total confusion

What firmware version is considered stable/latest and should be current for Gladiator MK2 "NON-PRO The one it came pre-installed on your Gladiator, as it has been tested by VKB HQ before shipping it. Usually there is no requirement to update the firmware of a new device unless VKB HQ identifie...

Re: Ordering a VKB Stick and Base?

No pre-ordering available. The Waitlist provides an automated email message once stock is back available for standard ordering. You could also subscribe to the VKB NA Newsletter (VKBcontrollers.com > Newsletter), as that's how I keep everyone informed about product availability. Stock availability f...

Re: Gladiator MKII total confusion

Hello , I got this flight system today Just curious - what prompted you to install firmware on a new product that ships with a working, good firmware version from the factory? There's usually no need to flash a brand new device that's working out of the box as it should. Firmware should only be upd...

Re: Y axis dampening

Generally it looks like the dry clutch is still holding the Y axis cam somehow, but I double and triple checked - the nut is completely unscrewed; it's head is sticking almost above the plate. You have to likely loosen additional screws as well; give it a go: https://i.imgur.com/pWp1ekz.png Source-...

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System

Here's another tidbit shared originally in the Russian IL-2 forums; still 3D printed for research and development, but a nice look at the envisioned detent solution and palm-release-plates to lift the throttle grips over these detents (yes, I say detents as there can be more than one detent installe...

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System

Some of you might have seen this on the Russian IL-2 forums, but here it is as well for you to see in our VKB forum thread here: a very rough first 'ergonomics test' of the 3D printed TECS throttle handle (printed in one chunk for testing; the real deal will of course be the split throttle setup). A...

Re: Two #50 Springs

For the Gunfighter Mk.II, the maximum is 2x #40 (or 1x #50 and 1x #30) spring per axis. I would not recommend anything different, especially not 2x #50 springs per axis. If you desire a little more resistance closer to the center, play with the dry clutches as well (the springs provide increasing re...

Poll over on the DCS forum

Hi guys, Eagle Dynamics, maker of DCS (Digital Combat Simulator), are inquiring about the popularity of the different controller brands use in DCS to hopefully support the more popular ones with DCS default profiles, so make you voice heard. VKB is represented via the MCG and KG12 grips. Would be ni...

VKB Kosmosima Space Combat Grip Sneak Peek

UIV, VKB owner and chief engineer, has dropped a little sneak peek on another forum, and since it's out in the open now, here's a couple of teaser images of the VKB Kosmosima SCG (Space Combat Grip). Of course, it's also very much usable in DCS or IL-2 or other sims. Please be aware that this is not...
