Re: X & Y stopped working on my Gunfighter MCG MkII Pro.
PS: When I ran the Default, it did not pop up a message to 'Configure' as you stated. It popped up a message to 'Calibrate'. I assume that is what you meant? I shutdown last night, and when I started up this morning the black(orange) box was green and blue!! But after about 30 minutes I got up from ...

Re: X & Y stopped working on my Gunfighter MCG MkII Pro.
Ok, I ran the Default, and recalibrated, but that didn't fix it... I had broken the plug from the stick to the base two years ago, so I had bought a few of them. Luckily I had a spare.. I swapped cables, but it's still the same. So, I found an old printer type plug and swapped that and plugged it in...

X & Y stopped working on my Gunfighter MCG MkII Pro.
On the External Devices tab in the Device Config the MCG 2.17.9 is Green, and the GF Base 2:17.8 is all Red. I am running: Firmware v2.16.5 VKBDevCfg Device Configurator v0.92.88 I updated the PCB over a year ago I think. It has those new wire clips that you screw on it, to hold the plugs in place. ...

Re: X Axis Spikes and sticks...
Thanks Fallout. I did take it apart again today and I think it was that connector to the round plug that comes out of the base housing. I've fixed that several times. Last time I shoved a tiny piece of plastic with super glue on it into the back side of each wire to hold them in place. Two of them w...

Re: X Axis Spikes and sticks...
Once again, after a month of non-use it's spiking and sticking on the X Axis!! I am so friggin' tired of having to tear this apart... This will probably be the 5th time for the same issue. There should be one Mega-thread for this issue alone!! ARG!!!   And I cannot even search ...

Why doesn't Search work?
I'm trying to search for 'axis mcg gunfighter' and it says these words are too common, and it won't search!! WTH!! Argg... I have a problem with my stick and now another with this stupid search!!
I cannot even search for just 'gunfighter' or 'axis'!

X/Y Axis Jumpy and won't stay centered. (FIX)
 Just wanted to share a fix I made to my VKB Gunfighter MKII MCG Pro. The X axis has been flakey ever since I bought the stick 3 years ago. I've taken it apart and put it back together and it would 'seem' to be fixed, but after some use it would start to happen again. The Axis would not stay c...

Re: Gunfighter mk.II - MCG Pro grip - X axis twitching problem
Wow, so glad I found this post. I received my new Reverb G2 and have gotten back into DCS after a while. I have had to 'tweak' the Bias on my X axis to re-center it for almost a year now. Took it apart twice but found nothing. After seeing this I put white paper under the stick and took that small c...

Where can I find the "Change Log" for VkbDevCfg?
I am using VkbDevCfg-C v0.90.06.
Is there a version change log for this software? I am trying to decide if it would be a good idea to update..
Thanks,
Snacko

Re: Strange 'Physical Axes' Values??
Thanks for the reply. I thought that setting it to Default, and Calibration were two independent things. IE: you could Calibrate and then set it to default, and it would not affect the calibration. Thanks for clearing that up. And it's nice to know that those values 'are' the calibration of the Phys...

Strange 'Physical Axes' Values??
I was getting 'jumpy' X & Y axis the past few weeks , and it would never stay centered. Tried everything, so I took it apart today and blew out any dust with some canned air. It seems better now. But as I was testing, and setting it to Default Values I noticed that my Settings for the 'Physical ...
