Re: MCG loose base
Let's try phrasing the question like this: If you were faced with this problem of a formerly hot-pressed socket coming loose, what adhesive would you use to re-secure the socket? Glue? Locktight? There are no cracks. It has simply lost whatever bond it originally had and cleanly slides out a few mil...

Re: MCG Pro Roll Axis Jumping
Okay, I'll open a ticket about this. Still hoping I can solve my other issue without replacement parts.

Re: MCG loose base
I'm not sure I follow. The only course of action is to open a support ticket? I was hoping there was a way I could re-secure these sockets on my own. How are these sockets anchored originally?
This is a different issue than my issue with roll axis jumping, so I've responded to this thread.

Re: MCG loose base
I have a similar problem. Except the sockets the screws screw into themselves are loose in the plastic sheathing. Therefore, no matter how tight the screws are, the grip is loose. Is there any way to safely secure the metal sockets inside the plastic sheaths?

Re: MCG Pro Roll Axis Jumping
I'm still having this issue. Seems to be entirely due to cables becoming unseated. This wouldn't be a huge problem if it were not for the fact that i have to open the stick up on a near daily basis to re-seat. Seems other people are having this issue and that it has been nailed down to unseated cabl...

Re: Wire for X-axis (?) disconnected from Connector in Gunfighter
Mine did the same thing. As an aside, when I replaced the wiring all my axis and button glitches went away.

MCG Pro X Axis Spiking
I had the exact same issue, as have many others. Mine was fixed by replacing the wiring between the USB pass through and the board. It also fixed phantom button presses.

Re: Severe Gunfighter MkII Axis Glitches
I had the exact same issue. Then, a wire sheared in the gunfighter base. I repaired it and the axis jump disappeared entirely.

Re: MCG Pro Roll Axis Jumping
It would seem that the issue does in fact have to do with electrical connections in the base. I say this, because the issue has come back. Now I have to open the base up almost every time I use it to re-seat the connections or the axis jump is horrific. Is there anything i can do to make the connect...

Re: MCG Pro Roll Axis Jumping
Retightened cams and cleaned off a sheen of black lubricant that seems to develop where the roller meets the cam. Something I did fixed the issue.

Re: MCG Pro Roll Axis Jumping
Lol. Okay, well I am human, so if you need information or screenshots showing certain things, ask. I am on both the newest VKBdevcfg, and the newest FW unless I've done something wrong. As previously stated. I also followed your recommendation earlier and reseated all connections several times. Spik...

Re: MCG Pro Roll Axis Jumping
GF2. All wiring and internals seem connected and fine (reseated everything just to make sure). I feel confident that this is a software problem, as it appears fine after a recalibration, a reset, or a restart, but then over a period of use begins to produce spikes again. This is why I've thought I f...

Re: MCG Pro Roll Axis Jumping
Default with old firmware and software made no difference. Updates firmware/software, still no fix. X axis still jumps even with default settings. Edit: Unchecked "Eco" in Global Common. Seems to have helped a lot. No idea why. Is there additional information I can provide to help solve th...

Re: MCG Pro Roll Axis Jumping
I'll try the new firmware/software. I've been trying to avoid having to redo all my bindings/macros, but if there is nothing glaringly wrong in my settings, I suppose I have no choice. It occurred to me that the first time i calibrated and added macros, I was in developer mode. After that, i think I...
