Re: Access Violation in VKB software with many USB devices plugged in
Sorry to necro an old thread, but this is relevant again. I didn't have this issue until I recently got a DAC for my headphones which adds two more USB devices to the mix. One to power the device and one to transfer the audio. I can send audio to the DAC using a coax input (which I'd actually prefer...

Re: Gladiator EVO based HOTAS = ♥️
Yeah APEM owns CH Products now. CH was always big into the industrial controller sector. I guess they just naturally added some game controllers to their offerings as it was in their wheelhouse. But once they made something that worked, they just stopped developing. When APEM bought the company I th...

Re: Gladiator EVO based HOTAS = ♥️
mattcaron That sounds interesting Matt, I'll check it out. I'm all for any improvements in functionality. fallout9 My pleasure, mate. I certainly wouldn't bother if the products weren't worthy of compliments. Being one of the most prominent VKB mods I see on various forums on the internet, I'm sure...

Gladiator EVO based HOTAS = ♥️
Hi people I just received my double Gladiator EVO set up. Both premium, one Left handed omni throttle and one normal Right handed stick. I've moved from a CH Products Fighterstick and Pro Throttle HOTAS. I had already upgraded from CH Products Rudder Pedals to VKB T.Rudder MKIV several years ago. Un...

Re: VKB-Sim MCG. Questions. Answers. Advice.
Hi guys With the new MCG grip being back in stock early, I'm tossing up whether to go for the standard MCG and Gunfighter II or wait for the MCG Pro stock to fill. The only function I'm missing on a standard MCG is the 4 way + push thumb hat. You mention that the buttons are customisable. Does that ...

Re: My finished rig.
Very nice! The old PVC pipe comes in handy. Who'd have thunk you can build a whole sim pit out of the stuff? But people have been doing so for years! I'm contemplating building one myself, but a more low and laid back style, so I'm sitting more like in a car. Or an F-16, for example. Many people bui...

Nice little set up. Is that a PVC pipe stick extension?

Re: Questions and answers
I understand your frustration, but understand VKB are a small company. Our market is a niche, but still large and demanding enough to cause understandable supply problems for a small operation like VKB. In addition to this, their manufacturers are in the midst of Chinese new year, a very important t...

Re: MCG Pro in Elite Dangerous
Negative, no Steam. I will check that setting when I get home, tho. Thanks Any updates on this yet? I'm interested to know if you got it working. Cheers Moved usb cable from powered usb hub to a USB port on my tower. Lo and behold, E:D picked up the inputs. Dunno why that would make any difference....

Re: MCG Pro in Elite Dangerous
Are you launching E:D through Steam? Someone said "Turning off "Generic GamePad Configuration Support" in Controller settings solved the issue for me." I play through the Elite launcher and had no problems seeing my MCG Pro. Negative, no Steam. I will check that setting when I g...

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
Perhaps some Braille stickers on the buttons might be a solution. It would be nice to have something from factory that helps facilitate the VR community, but at this stage, I fear that would only push the release back further. A quick note about the button choice: A good reason for momentary/standar...

Re: Using #50 springs with Gladiator Pro and MCG
Judging by the photos I've seen of the inside of the stick, the internal shaft goes a decent way into the handle. So there shouldn't be any durability problems. These plastics appear to be of high quality. Most joystick plastics are of decent enough quality these days. Provided the handle is screwed...

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
Hi guys, My first post here. i've been keeping an eye on VKB for the past couple of years. Finally entered the community officially today by ordering my first VKB peripheral. The T-Rudder Pedals. They're coming from X-Plane.Org in the US, so it'll be a while until they arrive. I had held off this lo...
